the funniest part is y’all think artists announce projects the second they think of them 😭 labels don’t appear overnight, albums are planned months in advance and six collabs mean six separate artists, teams, contracts, recordings and clearances that don’t magically happen because someone else made an announcement. mind you, legend music studio in phuket literally posted lisa in the studio in may 2024, saying rca had flown in an entire team, including one of the world’s top vocal producers, to record a bunch of tracks with her. a bunch of tracks. months before alter ego was even announced. then rolling stone revealed lisa met tyla through producer sammy soso in the studio long before fans even knew they’d collaborated. believing lisa saw an instagram post then built lloud, hired staff, negotiated an rca partnership, called six A-list artists, got every manager and lawyer to sign off, booked studios, recorded, mixed, mastered and cleared every feature before breakfast is peak comedy. here’s the actual timeline : nov. 12, 2023 → lloud incorporated. late 2023 → blackpink renews with yg for group activities only while each member pursues independent solo arrangements. feb. 8, 2024 → lloud is publicly announced. apr. 10, 2024 → rca partnership is announced. apr. 2024 → lisa was spotted in larrabee studios in los angeles, a renowned recording facility in the us known for its work with major artists. may 2024 → legend music studio says rca flew in a production team to record “a bunch of tracks” with lisa months before alter ego was announced. nov. 2024 → alter ego is officially announced. what’s sending me is acting like lisa left yg with absolutely nothing planned when she already had visions for what she wanted to build. public announcements are when you find out, not when the work starts. the music industry doesn’t revolve around your twitter timeline. this isn’t “nooticing,” it’s just not knowing how the music industry works. embarrassing.
