I’d been sitting on this for a second but…I’m rebranding…again. This time for good!! I’m not digging into everything just know I have had issues with the Flopsie model since concept art and hoped she would grow on me. In May the work starts for my new art for a design that I am so excited for that was exactly everything I asked for!! Name change will come after everyone gets comfy with the design change, but know I’m finally feeling comfy with a design!

I’m thinking about doing my psych capstone on vtubing. So that means I’ll need to get people to do surveys and interviews to help support my topic (thinking how digital avatars foster a larger parasocial relationship in streaming as well as how it influences community)! If that’s something you’re interested in let me know!

My second class for my masters program is about social psychology, and it’s honestly such an interesting subject and I have already learned so much about things that you can see every day in the vtubing sphere! If anyone wants my ramblings let me know cuz i honestly love this stuff!

TADC spoilers because no one is saying my theories but I feel so strongly about this: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I don’t think Bubble is the second AI an I don’t think anyone “tricked”Kinger into deleting the files. Also less strong theory, I’m not sure if Pomni is 100% human (this is my wild theory) 1. We see in the text files Bubble was created in 1996 in Cain’s files along with Wacky Watch. I believe Bubble was supposed to be a “helper” for Cain that pushed him to second guess his ideas and push his creativity so it wouldn’t grow stagnant. Which pushed Cain over the edge. 2. Kinger is FLYING through coding and we see him accidentally push the delete button on the keyboard as he’s typing, this was 100% just a human error. 3. (This is my crazy theory) from the moment Pomni has entered the circus she has had the strongest ability to conjure amongst all of the cast, doing it accidentally to create the exit maze at the beginning, an again at the end. Additionally, while Cain is torturing everyone and he gets bored he states “humans just aren’t relatable” but when Pomni shows up just a few scenes later Cain says “Pomni, the relatability we’ve been missing” which makes me question why. Anyways those are my biggest things :3

@GnomieVT For me it’s no longer connecting to my model. This has happened because of artists not listening to what I want with my art and just not wanting to start over with the same idea with someone else.

I’m curious, what causes so many vtubers to rebrand? Is it the lack of attention the model/character brings? Just no longer loving what your model/character is? I feel I’ve been seeing a lot of rebrands lately???
