easy monday today. it’s time to annoy most of you.

last of the cookies are done baking. i'm fresh and clean. still need to eat dinner but at least the cookies are all done! i'll come by to whoever wants some tomorrow. :]

@n9thkey YEAH. same reaction. you roast cheese like mini brie on the campfire and then sandwich it between two crackers with other charcuterie items. NEED.

long time no see, friends. i have been away tending to things that brighten my soul, (like book shopping) & café hopping. i recently bought three new books after skimming until the last seconds of closing time when the staff begged me (kindly) to leave their shelves alone.

rise and shine, yun nation. happy sunday, and well, i’m hungover after last night’s shenanigans so taking it easy today. as always, sending you guys nothing but positive vibes your way.

@noirdoves exactly. i feel this about certain scents and locations, too. something so harmless as the smell of a specific perfume or a park you haven't visited in a while... something you've tucked in the depths of your mind, and then all of a sudden you're back in that heartbreak.. 🫠

@floreisele music is a great vessel for holding memories, no? a blessing and a curse, truly. sometimes i rediscover old playlists and innocently play them for the nostalgia. it's all fine and awesome at first but then that one song plays and suddenly, i'm 22 again with the same heartaches...

pro tip: don't go pressing play on random songs because you will, of all songs, pick one that will open books you have long closed!
