@florenceolajide wrote a wonderful book about a brave FMC, Ṣikẹmi, set in Yoruba land in the 1800s during the Transatlantic slave trade.
We met Ṣikẹmi as a 14-year-old free girl & followed her journey as a slave and warrior under Madam Tinubu and Ẹfunṣetan.

This morning, children in 1,350 classrooms took part in our #NationalStorytellingWeek event with @TolaOkogwu and created their own superheroes inspired by Onyeka and the Academy of the Sun.
We can't wait to see the stories they create!
