Excited that my first 1st-author paper is officially published! We infected Daphnia with 2 microsporidian parasites and found that one was able to outcompete the other, but that the order of infection had no effect on the outcome. @SickWaterFlea @TCDZoology

Having a great first day at #BES2022 so far! Looking forward to seeing some of you at my presentation on the effects of temperature and phosphorus levels on Daphnia tomorrow at 9:45am in Lammermuir 2.

Our 5th speaker is @florianeeok presenting work on how phosphorous impacts infection rate, using daphnia as a study species.

Two of our PhD students @niamhasaurus and @florianeeok got the opportunity to present their research at the #SEBECR conference last week in @Tvarminne Finland. Great work guys!
