@Idiot_draws it’s also possible andrew has a neg outlook on his childhood and the bad can overshadow the lil bit of good ( or its possible he doesn’t see cleo as good as she makes it seem in her trailer! sometimes you have to stick with one person bc they’re your only choice, for example. )

@Idiot_draws i think it’s very telling that they did so before his sixth birthday letter drops next year! thus far i don’t think any of his current letters exactly had space for introspection on past friendships, with them being business dealings or having to do with the game itself n all

love cléo, her story and design are really awesome, but I don't understand why andrew is there like surely if there was someone other than his mother that cared about him there'd be at least one mention in his letters 😓😓

i do also think its obvious to be happy about andrew mention but ppl who are overshadowing her entire reveal video or making her into a side character for him and their bum ass ships are really cringe 👼

in the same way kurt sees the doctors as evil beasts i personally saw the scene where andrew and cleo were between a circle of children as something she remembers as fun when it was actually meant much more sinister in the moment

i don’t think they’re rewriting andrew’s lore because it’s shown that that “happy” world is all in cleo’s head. it wouldn’t completely negate all of his traumatic childhood if he had one singular friend ( especially one who leaves while he’s still a child )!
