Sadly, this affects recruiting and how NYS is viewed nationally. The fact the best players in the State get overlooked because of just stats is remarkable. The fact that some of the best players aren’t even listed is sad and noticeable. Our kids deserve better and a FAIR system.

Congrats to the winners. But this is the most failed system in recognizing the best players in our State. The media is picking all CNY and promoting reps of every team vs the best players. Thus leading a sportswriter from Albany to pick players off a list, not from coaches.

What Sy accomplished is remarkable. This young mans' talents are only going to bring him to higher levels. Not only is he the best I ever coached, he may be the best all around player I have seen live at his age. Look for him to continue to be great. His inner drive is profound!
