This week's #FlowSessions Artist Spotlight is AI consultant, creative technologist, researcher, and artist, Tabitha Swanson! 🎬 Her film, "The antidote to fear is curiosity," is a philosophical meditation on our evolving relationship with AI, exploring the intersection of technology, selfhood, and the creative spirit. 💡 Flow Tip: There is no "one size fits all" workflow. While some filmmakers rely on elaborate multi-view character sheets for maximum control, Tabitha found that just one source image worked best for her specific vision. She anchored the entire film on a single photo of her face, proving that, depending on your creative goal, Flow can achieve impressive identity replication without always needing a complex input.

💡 Pro Tip: Try uploading a color palette into Flow as an Ingredient, then add the prompt: “Based on the provided color palette…” The result? Visual consistency for all your images and videos locked into your signature aesthetic. #FindYourFlow

Props help set the tone of your scene. For example, a backpack can help emphasize the feeling of smallness a character experiences, highlight their journey ahead, or the feat they’ve conquered. Use Ingredients to perfect the props that will define your story.

Time to shape your imagination. Image creation and editing in Flow now supports additional aspect ratios! Mix it up with our new presets: ⬛ 1:1 📱 3:4 🖥️ 4:3 (Plus your trusty 16:9 & 9:16) What are you going to create first?

Dark Aquamarine Color Grading Lock in your visual aesthetic with a prompt. Try this one for yourself: “tonalist color scheme, ethereal compositional stillness, dark aquamarine color grading” We liked adding a red neon sign, how would you modify it?

Stop prompting for "a room" and start prompting for "a mood." Create visual tension in your scenes with subject placement, lighting, and objects.

Stay within your creative flow. With the ability to “@” for specific assets within your prompts, you can spend more time creating and less time sifting through generations. #FindYourFlow

Instead, look for realistic imperfections and small aberrations you would normally get in real life with a traditional camera to add texture to your work.

We recently updated Flow! Here’s a deeper look into the newest capabilities: First: You can now drag and drop your existing assets directly into the prompt box, or use a simple @ tag to add them. Try combing your favorite characters, styles and settings into your next creation.

@FlowbyGoogle Suggestion: we need a storyboard space (similar to MixBoard), where the user can organize/visualize all images before animating or directing them into a sequence.
