Being away for a while in March, I have just caught up with the BBC decisions to shut down #APointOfView & end overseas access to @BBCSounds. Aside from the sheer incompetence of these decisions, in the week of increases to the Licence Fee, the optics could not be worse

Fantastic to see @lisaoneillmusic again at @edintfest last night. Just one woman's voice, guitar and a hammer dulcimer and so much heart. Hearing her rallying against the wrongs of the world was just what I needed. The Simone, Dylan, Baez and Bragg of our day.
