The @HyperliquidX multi-Sig is a feature that allows multiple private keys to control a single account. This adds extra security if used correctly.
To use the multi-sig feature, a user sends a request to convert their account to a multi-sig account, listing the authorized users (signers) and the minimum number of users required to approve an action (Multi-Sig Threshold).
Each authorized user must sign a message to approve an action, and one of them (lead) sends the final request. The account can be updated or changed back to a normal account by sending a new request with the updated information.
Important things to keep in mind:
- The lead needs to be one of the signers (authorized user), it cannot be the multi-sig account.
- Every signature needs to be done using the exact same information e.g same nonce, txn lead, amount, destination, etc…
- The lead needs to collect all signatures needed to reach the threshold before submitting the action.
- The front-end only supports basic actions, for more advanced action types please refer to the Python SDK, you can start here: github.com/hyperliquid-de…
- Anyone can build their own multi-sig front-end to support more action types.

How I helped @Predatorweb3 rescue ~$5k from his hacked wallet, beating the hacker's sweeper bot. His wallet was compromised. The hacker had a sweeper bot pulling out any token within seconds of it landing. But he had pending Whales Market OTC sell orders worth ~$5k, and settling them required tokens to actually sit in the seller's wallet first. Every test deposit got swept instantly. We first solved this on BSC. Then Whales Market moved the same orders to MegaETH, and we had to solve it all over again on the new chain. Same compromised wallet, same hacker, different chain. The technique: we used the hacker's own weapon against them. Sweeper bots use EIP-7702 delegation to point compromised wallets at their sweep contract. We did the same, re-delegated the wallet to OUR Settler contract in the same atomic tx as the settle, overwriting whatever the hacker had set. On BSC we used 48Club Puissant for private MEV bundles. On MegaETH (no Puissant) we used EIP-7702 type-4 txs: one atomic tx that re-delegated the wallet,ran approve, settle, and pushed USDm straight to the safe wallet. All in one call frame. The sweeper bot can't slip in between steps. Verified everything with a read only sim before spending a wei. All 4 orders settled. Full payout to safe.
