This family isn’t getting the support they need at all 

We bid farewell to the month of goodness, the blessed month of Ramadan—a month of mercy, blessings, and giving. It leaves a lasting mark on our hearts despite the harsh circumstances we are living through. First and foremost, thanks to Allah, and then to the generous support of a dear friend close to my heart, we were able during this holy month to carry out a series of humanitarian initiatives aimed at easing suffering and bringing joy to displaced families. We began with a date distribution initiative, providing high-quality dates in two phases: 200 families benefited in the first phase, followed by 190 families in the second, with each family receiving 2 kg to support them during the days of fasting. This was followed by our second initiative—distributing Eid cookies and ma’amoul—to 400 families living in tents and shelters, giving them moments of joy and a sense of the Ramadan spirit they have been deprived of. In another important humanitarian effort, we reached 110 families of orphans, widows, and people with disabilities. Each family received 100 shekels through electronic wallets, helping to ease their difficult living conditions. We also distributed 100 food parcels to 100 displaced families in northern Gaza, where essential supplies are scarce and prices are extremely high. These parcels provided much-needed support during a critical time. We did not forget the children, who held a special place in our efforts. We distributed shoes to children in the camps, bringing smiles to their faces and restoring a sense of dignity and care. We concluded our initiatives by distributing sweets and chocolates on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, sharing joy with children and reminding them that even in hardship, Eid still carries hope. Although what we provided is modest compared to the immense needs, we firmly believe that every act of kindness—no matter how small—can make a real difference in people’s lives. Our deepest thanks and appreciation go to everyone who donated, supported, and contributed to this charitable effort. May Allah reward you abundantly and bless your generosity. Your kindness will never be forgotten. We ask Allah to accept from all of us and to return this blessed month upon us and our Ummah with safety, peace, and relief 🤍

We cannot point this out enough - infrastructure: in the form of water and sewage systems, electricity, natural gas piping, streets with traffic lights, drains, landfills, energy sources, just to name a few examples in Gaza, have been DECIMATED. Accumulation of water in displacement camps, flooding in the streets, and lack of drainage for storm surges and waste water runoff, point to the occupation’s strategy of deliberate targeting of all these systems in order to make life in the Strip unbearable.
