@ShayDa_idk To be fair, being an artist and an “influencer” are completely different skillsets. Some people just might not want to get into it, or be bothered by it I suppose

it does feel like luck when you dont know what's involved, so I assume that's why people pin the blame on "the algorithm"

One thing I do find understandable but a tad irritating is artists having some lacking elements to their social media and then complain about how it's entirely the algorithm's fault

I will say even just being a small digital artist online gives you a lot of context to how youtubers and other social media creators operate. It's neat being able to read through some youtuber you like's statistics and go "oh sick we can expect to see more of this" etc
