@hl_hgruntmdl I'm glad that con attendees voiced their discomfort to you. The prop clearly shouldn't have been permitted. Crossover exists yes, combat gear may be fine at comic-con, but at a furcon you REALLY stand out if your cosplay can be mistaken for an active shooter. Intent is unclear.

@fluffdrgn I fear that you havent read my post as I discussed that I was allowed and permitted to bring in such prop. I also cosplay in other places apart from furry conventions! Lastly, many furries are both past and current members of our armed forces and should be accepted in our cons

Looking at the dumpster fire this has caused I feel like I gotta say something and move on with life afterwards. Clearly there is a need for clarification in regards to my prop gun. First of all, that is MY PROP and not bomb voyages. It is my responsibility for it. 1/-

As the cosplayer of Bomb Voyage in these photos and this video, I have a few things to say: 1. The “weapon” I am holding is a prop which is marked with an orange tip and ribbon. The orange tip was very visible to everyone in the atrium, it's just difficult to see through the pictures. 2. The prop was cleared as okay to use by the convention staff and Atlanta police. 3. The prop is not mine. It was borrowed from another cosplayer for a brief period. It’s honestly sad how much attention this is getting. There are far more important things to focus criticism on at conventions: Sexual assault, inappropriate behavior, inappropriate attire in public places, illegal substance abuse, and the list goes on. I do apologize for pointing the gun at people as I realize that was inappropriate of me to do that. I did not intend to scare or threaten anyone.
