VIP and bleachers tickets were quickly sold out at Seventeen’s last concert (NEW_), which took place at the Philippine Sports Stadium on March 21, 2026.
Standing sections weren’t officially declared as sold out, but if you were actually there, or even just saw clips, you’d think that it was full. We literally described it as being packed like sardines, especially during last year’s concert when multiple fans collapsed in those sections. The organizers weren’t transparent about how many tickets needed to be sold for those sections to be considered “sold out,” but visually and realistically, they probably already were. Also, back in 2024, they did have a concert (Follow) that was officially declared sold out, which led to an additional date being added.
In addition, just one member of Seventeen held a fan meet here in the Philippines, and the tickets weren’t even sold, as they were given away through a raffle. Around 6,000 people actually got in, and that’s just the number of attendees. That doesn’t include the much larger number of people who joined the raffle in the first place just for a chance to see Mingyu. If anything, that just shows how much bigger the demand was compared to the actual venue capacity. Those who didn’t get in were even begging for the General Admission section to be opened, since it was closed during that fan meet.
As of now, they’ve already confirmed that there won’t be full group tours for a while because of military enlistment. Even then, Filipino Carats are still actively asking for unit and solo tours to include a Philippine stop, especially since we’ve already been skipped by some unit tours.
If we’re talking about demand, Seventeen is one of the groups with objectively high demand in the Philippines. They’ve literally made history here by being the first K-pop group to hold solo concerts at both the Philippine Arena and the Philippine Sports Stadium. Them not selling out such a huge venue does not mean they aren’t high in demand. Inflation of prices, the date of the concert itself, and other factors should be considered as to why it wasn’t sold out.
