I have a genuine question for everyone mainly out of curiosity. What are your honest opinions on the state of FFXIV venues compared to how they use to be. Better? Worse? What would you say changed across the time?

@FeristalJ Hi there's a hot take here, but, the venue scene has been molded and created literally by those patrons that are here complaining about how it has become. This isn't something that is venue owners faults, venue owners give what you guys want and for a long time you all wanted(1)

@FeristalJ die away. Same concept as support small businesses, you want the small venues to thrive, lift your hand and actually make it a thing. This is on you as the community, noot on the venue scene as a whole, you have the ability too change all of this, yoou just have to make the(6)

@FeristalJ in 2023. I've thought about reopening but honestly the fear of opening shop to an empty venue is daunting. There are roleplay venues that DO pop up, when you see them then GO TO THEM! Stop giving your gil and your patronage to the giant clubs and once you do Just watch them(5)

@FeristalJ personally killed almost every single heavy rp venue that was available. The cute Cafe's the cute tea shops, the fun loving places for you to interact with not only the staff, but the patrons as well. I owned a tea shop, started in 2019, and I finally gave up and closed shop(4)

@FeristalJ one or two patron's showed up? I was an owner of one of those venues, and sooner or later you just give up because, it's not what the patrons of FFXIV want. Now that those venues have all but died away now you are upset that they aren't there anymore? You as patrons (3)

@FeristalJ places that provided only that, the erp scene, the clubbing the dj's that's all you wanted to go to. You want the taverns, you want the heart and soul of a roleplay venue? where were you when those venues were struggling to make things work out, the hours placed in when only (2)
