I wouldn’t say that- the main issue here is entering a reflect war too close to the opponent. First stock she just died from a mistimed reflect. Second stock she had time to dodge the phantom but stayed put. If you’re going to attempt to win a reflect war she needs to use a jumping nayru to drift away so she’s safer. She can beat a lot of reflectors simply on account of how long hers lasts

PSA: Zelda’s reflector is for use against characters that can’t reflect back at her If someone reflects the Phantom, you don’t reflect back. You call them out reflecting your Phantom with a dash grab, a teleport, a landing aerial etc Stop reflecting the phantom back

The happiest player in Ultimate plays a zoner who doesn't have to heavily interact for kills and can airdodge out their ungimpable recovery and can EASILY circle camp Kazuya/ Steve/ Luigi for 8 minutes. This is the smash black pill. There AINT SHIT to smile for as Roy💔

Found a setup to get her Ledge Cancel Instant Landing (LCIL?) in training room using frame-skip mode and was able to test some stuff out. Normally LCIL is +1f on shield but Phantom's added coverage can give it a max +18f when blockstringing. Still searching for a setup in game 😔

⚠️NEW FINDINGS⚠️ If Zelda is in a smash attack animation while Phantom begins launch, Phantom gains 6 more frames of shield stun than usual. This improves Phantom shield safety and gives true shield break combos off dsmash/fsmash. This also applies to parry and when reflected.

So I’ve discovered a bug where if you’re in a smash attack animation as Phantom starts its auto launch, it’ll gain 6 frames more shield stun… hoping to find more exploits but definitely adds more shield breaker combos

Some Jet Hammer data context: -charge starts frame 18 -frame 136 reaches max. Released on f137 deals max base damage(40%) & critical zoom -charging for 135 frames deals ~29.8% at best -don't need to wait on frame 167 to take damage However, DDD could take it much further #SSBU

@XsVerm Yeah, though she’s generally just getting a two piece that doesn’t break shield or shield poking. She has a couple popular setups but I don’t think anyone has actually looked beyond those. Ima record some soon
