I've talked about the work we've been doing with @anduriltech on our clean-sheet hybrid, autonomous aircraft design, but I haven't been able to say much beyond that. Today, that aircraft was down-selected by the UK Ministry of Defence for Project NYX, the British Army's program to develop autonomous "loyal wingman" VTOL aircraft designed to operate alongside Apache helicopters. We opened our engineering hub in Bristol specifically to support this work and that UK aerospace talent is already helping accelerate the effort. I’m confident we have the right team building the right aircraft to deliver what the British Army needs. Can't wait to show the world what we've been working on.

US Operations Expected to Begin This Year We expect Midnight operations in American cities to begin this year through the White House’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP), in coordination with the @USDOT and @FAANews. Under the eIPP, we were selected as an air taxi partner in 3 winning applications encompassing 8 states, including Florida, Texas and New York.

Midnight is designed to be capable of taking off and landing conventionally (CTOL) or vertically (VTOL) to serve the full spectrum of flight operations and safety standards. This dual-mode capability gives it the flexibility to operate safely across a wide range of infrastructure, from traditional airports and runways to urban vertiports and constrained landing zones.

Certification Progress in the UAE 🇦🇪 After over a year of collaborating on our aircraft qualification program, the UAE’s regulator, the General Civil Aviation Authority @gcaauae, and Archer have aligned on a streamlined path for Midnight’s entry into service in the UAE by moving Midnight into a Restricted Type Certificate (RTC) program approach. Archer is the first eVTOL manufacturer to transition to an RTC certification track with the GCAA, utilizing an airworthiness pathway aligned with international aviation frameworks that offers a streamlined approach toward early stage commercial operations of Midnight in the UAE. A cornerstone of this advanced regulatory phase is initiating a GCAA Design Organization Approval (DOA) and Production Organization Approval (POA). These designations signify a high degree of trust in Archer’s engineering and safety management systems.

Now operating Archer FBO. After acquiring the FBO at Hawthorne Airport, Archer is now offering full airport services at KHHR, the most conveniently located private airport in Los Angeles. Minutes from LAX, SoFi Stadium, and Downtown LA.

Florida just passed a groundbreaking air taxi bill. Here’s what it does: Exempts eVTOL aircraft from FL sales and use tax Authorizes FL DOT to fund a portion of vertiport project costs Requires FL DOT to expedite approval of vertiports Preempts local governments from regulating vertiport design Prevents local governments from regulating eVTOL charging stations This bill helps reduce uncertainty, expedite approvals and move things forward efficiently.
