@NancyRPearcey Beautiful sight. We didn't have that many sheep, but they certainly followed me. When I had no idea where they were in the woods, I placed some rocks in their feed bucket and rattled it. They promptly arrived and demanded the real thing!

Could this be one reason Jesus likens us to sheep?

@JGWestDI I studied many court decisions while majoring in government. This is among the most interesting, for the Constitutional prohibition is crystal clear. Judge Cannon's critics need to read her 93-page opinion.

@itsdesign Unless they can fully explain the origin of molecular nanomotors, evolutionists have lost the argument. Even Darwin himself was willing to openly acknowledge problems with his theory, but it seems most of his followers have yet to read his writings.

“Irreducible Complexity” May Be Part of the Definition of Life - Daniel Witt evolutionnews.org/2024/06/irredu… There are many bad counter-arguments to Michael Behe’s famous irreducible complexity conundrum, and (in my opinion) one pretty good one.

What exactly is "transgender status"? The Supreme Court has some explaining to do. "Gorsuch is now in the unenviable position of having to explain just what he meant by “transgender status” despite there being no reputable scientific evidence, brain imaging scan, blood test, or genetic marker definitively proving its existence. Every definition that activists have ever insisted upon for what “trans” is either relies upon cultural stereotypes or is completely circular, trying to foist incoherent meaninglessness into concrete legal meaning." @BrandonMShow christianpost.com/voices/the-sup…

@itsdesign Are we living in a scifi novel? Are there really people who deny the existence of women and girls? Perhaps It is past time to deny their existence.

"people with a uterus" is a way of denying the integral composition of the female human body. If you think that that is just a choice and doesn't matter and won't end in more violence against girls and women, someone out there has a bridge to sell you.
Brian Lilley@brianlilley

There is a push to erase women from our language and now it is showing up in elementary school homework. If we don’t push back, this becomes our future. Women reduced to being people with a uterus or referred to as menstruators. Read & RT torontosun.com/opinion/column…

@itsdesign I posted on Facebook how a popular AI search site gave a backwards "answer" to a simple question about time. At least it said, "I am sorry..." after it received my correction.

@itsdesign Precisely why I've long recommended that all biology students take a basic course in electrical engineering. Electronic components never evolve; they are designed and created.

“Astonishing” Clocks Found in Bacteria - David Coppedge evolutionnews.org/2023/10/astoni… How could evolution bestow accurate timepieces on the simplest, most primitive life forms? It sounds like something William Paley would expect.

@itsdesign Cover story in PNAS! But even though the authors acknowledge stasis, they still say: "Now we know that even if animals appear to be staying the same, evolution is still happening." Then explain why insects in ancient amber appear identical to modern versions.

This evidence for COVID lab origin is useful but, at this point, no surprise. Next question: Why was the lab origin tarred in big media as a conspiracy theory for so long? How media helped to corrupt science: mindmatters.ai/2023/10/how-me…
Nancy Pearcey@NancyRPearcey

Japanese scientists conclude that all covid variants came from a lab. "The analysis showed that Omicron variants were formed by an entirely new mechanism that cannot be explained by previous biology." zenodo.org/record/8254894

Public school math education is a disaster? Okay: Isn't the real question here the following? Whose interests does the current public education system serve besides those of the union employees who make a good living out of it? If it is NOT teaching kids math, why pay for it?
Matthew Lau@matlau10

My column from last week: Public school math education is a disaster. Parents who do not want their children to graduate as mathematical morons are well-advised to pay for private math classes if they can afford it financialpost.com/opinion/canadi… via @fpcomment
