@dkreative1 @gregbradyx We elect members of Parliament, not members of a party. There is no blind allegiance and the system was set up that way to safeguard democracy. So your concern as a Conservative should be why the defectors ar not supporting the leader of the opposition but Carney instead?

@gregbradyx Actually, I do care how Mark Carney got it. And so should every single Canadian. But as it’s “legal” there’s little to stop it. So yes, let’s see what he can do. If the last 13 months are an example, it’s going to be rough and tough to live in Canada.

@gregbradyx Another Conservative fixated on Trudeau’s Coachella fun (btw, who cares?) … It’s like hating the ex so much you buy front-row tickets - move on already.

Of a clear & distinct two minds re: Trudeau here: 1) Private citizen. Go where you want, date who you want, enjoy things you really couldn’t do as easily for the past 20 years of politicking. 2) Absolutely, positively, & completely can’t live without attention & just live a quiet existence - the thing probably most of us would crave & most follow through on, after an intense run in public eye.

@gregbradyx Time‑Capsule Tories like you are stuck in the past, still campaigning against a guy who hasn’t been in power for over a year. Those that chose to boycott the USA, it doesn’t mean a permanent ban of everything American.

Those of you feeling betrayed by Justin Trudeau hightailing it to live in California & hang out w/ Katy Perry, drinking from plastic straws, THE SECOND he was done being Canadian PM.....you're going to have to be sedated when Mark Carney, in September 2029, is hosting the 10p slot on CNBC, living at 63rd/Central Park West, & going to New York Rangers games 15x a season.

@gregbradyx Trudeau was not leader of “elbows up” … he lost his job to the initiator of the movement. There’s no hypocrisy … boycotting the US was a personal choice by people of every political stripe,

I hope, at some point, Canadians can somehow connect the dots & figure out the guy who can’t go 10 minutes without talking about the world growing more divided…just might be pouring a notable percentage of that division into the water supply.

PM Carney, speaking ahead of Liberal caucus meeting, comments on the plane collision at LaGuardia airport that resulted in the death of two pilots. He also comments on Air Canada CEO Michael Rousseau only releasing a condolence message in English after the crash. #cdnpoli

@gregbradyx So we have “radicalization” on the left AND right (perception is reality despite what you might think). And Carney is moving more toward the ideological centre-right … adds up to continued Liberal electoral success.

This is nuts. There is ZERO reason for this party not to support Stiles. She’s a fantastic communicator & a gem in the “dealing w/ people” business. This tells me the radicalization of a growing number of NDP members is a huge issue. The detractors want more heavy socialism, more Marxism, not more logical, worker-driven support. I was expecting 85%. Jagmeet got 81% in late 2023 - way before he had the opportunity to pull the carpet out from Trudeau, remain Leader, save the party, & have probably 37 seats instead of 7. This party has a true internal battle for direction on its hands. Stiles is a big asset, not a detriment. She needs to kick the crazies out, not placate them.

@gregbradyx W-O-W - truly shocking that you actually support blatant censorship while we watch our (former) closest ally and (former) beacon of freedom and democracy turn into an autocracy. As someone who just ran for the CPC, it’s easy to see why many voters were wary of Poilievre.

Amazingly enough, people don’t watch late night “comedy” shows to watch hosts tap dance on the grave of recently slaughtered citizens. I didn’t know that! Did you?

@gregbradyx You’re reaching new levels of political rhetoric. I guess you need to cozy up to Poilievre for another run. Your posts used to be interesting and informed (even if I didn’t agree) now you’re just a Conservative mouthpiece..

Canada’s economy is cratering. We know it. The Liberal government knows it, & they know you know it also - they’re just hoping you will sit there & take the struggles. Not a single thing has improved in the past (almost) 8 months since the Trudeau resignation announcement.

I can’t get over the juxtaposition of every single leader of a Western democracy being present (oh, & invited!) at the White House today to show support for an end to the Russia/Ukraine war…….and Carney & Ford are hanging out alone, reflecting on what a poopshow our economic circumstances are after they talked so big. Finland’s PM was there. Finland! 🇫🇮 It’s giving me an ulcer, & making me howl w/ laughter simultaneously. You can’t make this up! Gah!

1. Many of you know I worked at Joe Kool's at age 17, mostly on/sometimes off until I was 23. It was a second home, even at 2am. It means everything to me. 2. This violent incident was unfathomable 6-7 years ago, let alone 30. 3. The police are doing all they can - look at Chief Truong's statement in this story here - they've arrested this violent/repeat offender TONS of times. 4. Not sure how Liberal MPs sleep at night, doing zero to change the laws, toughen bail regulations, & prevent maniacs like this from doing what they do over & over again. Have a nice vacation after your 5 weeks of work - see if you can find a conscience while at the beach or shopping at the local market. ctvnews.ca/london/article…

In my 20s, I worked at Tim Hortons for about 6 years. I started out as a cashier and worked my way up to Assistant manager. Our owner and boss was probably one of the best bosses I've ever had. He was good to his employees, paid us fairly, and even gave us health benefits. He's now retired and living his best life with his beautiful wife. Thank you, John, for always being a great boss and owner. I will always remember Tim Hortons like that. It's now been over 8 years since I've been to Tim Hortons as it's not the same. It's sad and disgusting that something that was considered a Canadian staple has turned into the shittiest fast food restaurant due to mass immigration and immigration work programs. These restaurants have been destroyed.

@fmu004 @grumpymike1974 @MichelleLA1981 For most of Tim Hortons existence it was almost entirely staffed by white teenagers. Teens don't care what job they have, they just want money. Working at McDonalds is no better or worse than Tims.

@MarcoCabral3 @MichelleLA1981 No arguments from me about the decline in quality, service etc. Never said otherwise. But I don’t blame “mass immigration” … that’s just an easy rationale for everything deemed “bad” used by right-wing populists who live all day in the X-verse.

@fmu004 @MichelleLA1981 It reflects a personal experience and opinion about how a company many of us grew up with has changed—especially in terms of quality, service, and operations. It’s about accountability and standards, not hate. We should be able to have honest conversations about these changes.

@grumpymike1974 @MichelleLA1981 You can interpret it how you like but blaming “mass immigration” on the downfall of Tim Hortons when it’s really due to foreign ownership and complacency might be shortsighted. Plus, most white “Canadian” kids wouldn’t be caught dead working at Tim’s.
