FAMILY SUSPECTS FOUL PLAY: T. Sithole went on a boat cruise with friends. Allegedly, the father of one of the white boys had blood on his hands, and one boy also had blood on his knees. When questioned about the origin of the blood stains, the father allegedly said he had no idea where it came from….
NB: They took time to report to the child’s parents that their child was missing.

Vanderbijlpark – The South African Police Service (SAPS) has confirmed that the body recovered from the Vaal River has been positively identified as 17-year-old Thomas Sithole, a pupil of Hoërskool Driehoek, who went missing on Friday, 9 January 2026. SAPS Search and Rescue members retrieved Thomas’s body on Monday, 12 January 2026, following a weekend-long search. He was reported missing after allegedly going on a boat cruise on the Vaal River with friends.
