@bluebellfrankie @irinyans How is it racist? Rap is a genre, not selectively the only genre black people can participate in. this is about how most rap music promotes a lifestyle of misogyny and violence, unlike other genres created and run by black artists, like r&b

@janeluve_ You have: "Girl with a psychic link to a spider that pilots a mech robot" And "Spider-Man but black who has invisibility and electric powers too" Yall, miles is NOT that interesting, I promise you. Just admit you want him because he is black. That's it. That's all you want

Kapri@freeworldpsycho

rappers like him are the reason why we have so many talented artists who genuinely put work, thought , and passion into their music go unnoticed there are so many underground rappers that our scene has yet to tap into , hopefully one day we can stop with the gimmicks n enjoy art

@unrulygreed @dsgnrjnkie @omgdutie i'm not arguing about them being experimental but realistically IF 2slimey dropped that same che snippet it would go viral for bein ass it's like people care less & less about the music it's damn near purely about image, persona or to seem more niche than your peers

This new direction from Che feels like he’s expanding on the smaller details from Encore. I fw it. That raw, husky tone with the raspy delivery gives his sound more weight fasho. Especially him being involved in the production just makes everything connect better.

@feyhomme @illprotectu i get what ya mean now i just think he doesn't have to pull a 180 with his sound in order to evolve, his evolution throughout albums pre rib is a slow burn & there was nothing wrong with it imo

@foaryn @illprotectu the ug is hyper evolving n driven by younger listeners so artists have to keep changing. Pop moves slower/has a broader audience so MJ didn’t have to do that. Your point obviously doesn’t apply to the scene we’re talking about. younger audiences burn through trends quicker
