The stealing of little items & the eating disorder are related to intrusive thoughts/OCD/anxiety. They know it’s wrong but have to “scratch the itch” regardless of consequence.

Just found an envelope of my adoption documents, much of which I’d never seen before. This letter from my mom to my birth mother… I am a MESS.

@robin_warder My Roku TV has @Unsolved Mysteries running on the @filmrisetv channel which mean continuous UM episodes all day. Trivia: do you know what segment this is from? Hint: creepy as hell when I was a kid in 1988!

@fog_gone @thevanishedpod @Justice4AliciaM Only on the original episode but the “a PO randomly found Ruth’s things in her stepfather’s office when he happened upon an unlocked school door” sounds SO MUCH like Doreen’s “a ranger saw Doreen’s dad running into the forest carrying what looked like a kid but never reported it”

@thevanishedpod @walksoftlydori and @Justice4AliciaM Ruth’s story is HAUNTINGLY familiar. Add Ruth’s name to the list with Doreen, Alicia, Alissa and other missing girls who we all know did not just run away.

What we learned while reading those files was shocking and disturbing. It seemed as though what was happening to Ruth was an open secret, once hidden by decades of silence. Today, we are breaking the silence. 4/4 podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the…

@Unsolved I’m so thrilled for her mother who never gave up on her daughter. They may have a long road ahead, but at least Jessica isn’t planning a funeral. Prayers for healing for Alicia and her family.

UPDATE: Alicia Navarro has been found safe! Now 18, she has come forward and identified herself to a police station in Montana near the Canadian border. Officials say she appears "healthy" and "safe" and has been reunited with her family. Where she was, and the details of her disappearance, remain unclear. Alicia left her home in Glendale, Arizona, on Sept. 15, 2019, leaving a note to her mother that she would return.
