Not a new concept - but the new name I’m hearing for this action is “Rolex” Very effective and tough to guard.

The best thing about March Madness is -- by law -- teams trailing by six or less shoot 80 percent from three in the final minute.

Notable fallout from Uplift Charter Schools dropping out of the UIL after realignment was released is now Carrollton Ranchview is left as the only school in 10-4A for basketball and volleyball....there's definitelty going to be some shifting #txhshoops @IshmaelRJohnson

@DOB23 But when you are a part of the team, you list your score first regardless of result. I get an email that says: “Hey, what were scores from tonight?” As a coach, I respond: “Varsity 75-68, JV 53-58, Freshmen 50-41” 🤷‍♂️

I’ve seen a number of accounts, some school accounts likely run by young people and other young journalists, who report losing scores first. The proper way to list a score is the winning score first every single time. Your team did not lose 68-75. They lost 75-68. Thank you.

@blakjordanbreen Common problem! I’m big on player meetings, expectations, and conversations. Don’t expect your players to be mind readers. Tell them where they are, why they are there, and (most importantly!) what you’re doing to make them better.

@fogg_factor And then they don't understand why they're getting benched or they can't get off the bench Because you were one of our best rebounders one of our best defenders now all of a sudden you want to do is shoot threes that's not what you do not yet do what you do

True and it shouldn’t hurt feelings! Do what helps your team and you will help yourself. As a coach, I’ll help improve your game. But until you’re there, do what you’re good at!
Del Current@DelCurrent

This is going to hurt a lot of feelings…. If your kid is shooting 20% from 3pt then they should not be shooting 3’s in the game in HS. In track you don’t put your slowest kid on the sprint relay. They want to be on the relay… get faster! This will solve a lot of HS problems

I'm amazed when I see a college team line up to break a press in an alignment that absolutely maximizes the pressure.
