It seems that some areas of #Shanghai are not keen to follow the new rules on the locking down of “secondary” Covid-19 contacts. I’ve spoke to 5 people who’ve been locked down this week for 48 hours due to being “secondary” contacts despite this no longer being allowed.

@EP_Lawrence I went to Chengdu for a 4 day trip on Oct 12th... only managed to return today... over a month since I left.... challenging to put it mildly.

Imagine you live in Beijing and pop out of the city for a quick trip, and then you're stuck and unable to return for *a month*. The reality of China's Covid-zero rules has made some domestic trips incredibly challenging/ impossible...
