@Variety I saw Star Wars for the first time in that theater 49 years ago too. Not with dad though. But once we told dad how good it was, he came with us when we saw it a few weeks later.

@Karaszewski I hadn't seen it in a while & had a great time watching it this week. Everything about that movie worked. It all came together & of course, Martin Landau's Oscar was a no-brainer. Tragic and hilarious. "Did you see when that kid grabbed Vampira's boobies?" "I envied that kid."

“Ed Wood” popped up on TCM this week. Ben Mankiewicz was very kind in his intro.

@ACMillerAuthor I'm a fan of Thelma & but I had not seen this one before last night. It was delightful. And Gene Tierney surprised me. I've never seen her like that. Full of comedic energy, but not in a screwball comedy way. In a realistic way. Overall a very fun "just go with it" movie.
