I thank every state and leader who supported Ukraine’s proposal for a full ceasefire. Russia responded to it only with new strikes and attacks. Throughout the entire day, almost every hour, reports of strikes have been coming in from different regions of Ukraine. Ukraine will act in kind. Depending on the situation overnight and tomorrow, we will also determine our fully justified responses. Russia has received from us a clear proposal on silence of the guns and diplomacy – and knows how to contact Ukraine or our partners in order to coordinate the details. If the one person in Moscow who cannot live without war cares only about one parade and nothing else, that’s a different story. Ukraine is ready to work for peace. Ukraine seeks to end this war with dignity. Russia has fought to the point where even its main parade now depends on us. This is a clear signal: Enough is enough.

Magyar's poetry: Today is a bit cryptic – might not land on the first read, but it’s all there. In a Bird pilot’s language: Grandpa Fart means a full course correction through target annihilation. 2022 – the bunker grandpa promises to take Kyiv in three days and plans a parade of his clowns down Khreshchatyk with the final capitulation of the “Nazi regime” (everyone remembers the abandoned dress uniforms in Bucha – I saw what was left of them myself). 2026 – grandpa is peed of his own parade on Red Square in Moscow. What we’re seeing now is a full-blown festival of panic attacks, with threats flying and “advisors” ranging from Beijing to the Oval Office. You’ve probably heard versions of this in recent days. But there’s one detail – expectations that never came true, turning into a broken, “historic” promise. Sounds twisted, so here it is: May 9, 2023. The parade on Red Square takes place. Right after that march of the doomed and display of antiques, Putin publicly sets the task of preparing the 80th Victory anniversary for 2025 — and explicitly states that on May 9, 2025, he will accept Ukraine’s capitulation on Red Square. Fuck right. Solid Jackie Chan talking – scary stuff, ground shaking under our feet. That same evening, at a group briefing, with the core team of 27 Birds and my Wings (Magyar's beloved wife has call-sign "Wings", she also serves in 414th Brigade) – who had already spent a year with us on the front – I made a promise: we would be home from the war by May 9, 2025. The end of the war had been set personally by the one who started it – who am I to argue with a nuclear one? Got carried away. They remembered that speech. In April–May 2025, just about every one of them reminded me of that promise. And my Wings started bringing it up back in March – for months. It finally settled down. And now it’s May 9 again – like Groundhog Day. But this time, no limits. No promises. No timelines. None. The cosplay of greatness is obvious now. Worms – keep your tiny assholes lubed and stay ready at all times. There is no longer a safe rear anywhere in the European part of the swamps – and there won’t be. That’s the story. Based on the results from April, our long-range sanctions have reached a new level across three components: reducing Russia’s oil revenues, as well as the range and intensity of sanctions. It is important that not only is the target itself reached, as defined by the operational objective, but that the downtime of the target is increased or, at the very least, its operations are significantly reduced. According to the most conservative estimates, since the beginning of the year, the aggressor state has lost at least $7 billion solely as a direct result of our precise sanctions against Russia’s oil industry and refining sector – due to direct hits, downtime, and delays in shipments. I am grateful to all our warriors of the Defense Forces of Ukraine who, together with the Security Service of Ukraine and our intelligence agencies, are delivering these results. We will scale up our long-range systems capabilities. Decisions are being prepared. Glory to Ukraine!

When I travel outside of Ukraine, I get daily intelligence updates online. This morning, I was briefed that U.S. military facilities in the Middle East and the Gulf region were photographed by Russian satellites in the interests of Iran. On March 24th, they imaged the U.S.–UK joint military facility on Diego Garcia located in the Chagos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean. They also captured pictures of Kuwait International Airport and parts of the infrastructure of the Greater Burgan oil field. On March 25th, they took pictures of the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The Shaybah oil and gas field in Saudi Arabia, İncirlik Air Base in Türkiye, and Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar were all imaged on March 26th. There are no Ukrainian facilities on this list. But who is helping whom when sanctions are lifted from an aggressor that earns daily revenue and provides intelligence for strikes against American, Middle Eastern, UK, and U.S.–UK bases and so on? When surveillance is carried out over facilities in Ukraine, we always understand that they must be protected, since plans are in motion to destroy them – energy and water infrastructure, military facilities, and so on. Everyone knows that repeated reconnaissance indicates preparations for strikes. How can sanctions be eased if this is what the Russians are doing? There must be pressure on the aggressor. And lifting sanctions is certainly not pressure. It looks strange. Sanctions are being lifted, while the aggressor is providing intelligence to strike facilities, including those of the countries that are discussing or have already lifted sanctions.
