FORⓔVER 8-bit Party

Dear 8-bit people, in case you haven't heard it elsewhere yet, due to the Covid-19 situation getting worse again, Forever 2020 is now officially canceled. With a bit of luck, we hope to see you in 2021.

We're very sad to announce that due to the safety measures taken by the Slovak government against the COVID-19 outbreak, we have to postpone the party to a yet-unknown date in the autumn. More info at forever8.net and forever.zeroteam.sk. Stay tuned for updates.

Great New Year attitude from one of the party's most faithful visitors!

Afer 10 days of learning Motorola 6809 I was able to make 1kilobyte intro for @forever8party on #Tandy CoCo/ Dragon 32. 6809 is a beautiful processor, so many possibilites, IMHO the best 8 bit processor.

@KutilDomaci Sad to hear that. But you can still submit something into the compos and compete for the Eternity and/or Raster Awards.

@forever8party I am really sad to tell that I will not attend because after a long business trip to USA I’ll need to give some attention to my family. 😒

In case you haven't noticed elsewhere yet, now it's official: the theme of Forever 2020 is: ROBOT! The party web got updated, and you can also start registering in the visitor list. Looking forward to seeing great demos, gfx, msx, and YOU at FOREVER 2020 - ROBOT!

Oh, slimey! We had an Alien-themed Forever, and we never even mentioned Project Firestart, arguably the most atmospheric alienish horror 8-bit game ever! That doesn't just hurt, that burns like acid!

The party is over. Thank you for coming, you make FOReVER as well. We had over 100 visitors after some years again, it means the 8-bit spirit is still appealing. Thanks to Brothers in ATRs for fantastic gig, PCH for doing buffet instead of C64-ing and orgas for being great! 💐
