Look up at the sky tonight. The moon and stars you see are the same ones that every person before you looked at. Your parents. Your grandparents. Alexander the Great. Marcus Aurelius. Seneca. Take a moment to pause and close your eyes. You will feel the connection.

@snowmeltmemo So much of life just passes us by. So much beauty and so many things to be in awe of...all under-appreciated, yet all still keep trying to reveal themselves to us.

@forgeofman Rare to see people actually stop walking to look at something physical. The bloom cycle forces a pause without a screen involved

Live is not measured by material things, but by the imprint we make on the hearts of others. A story of love and legacy, told through leaves. Full article at forgeofman.ca/the-money-plan…

"I think we were always meant to be nomads." They say home is where the heart is, but perhaps it's where the heart takes you. Dedicated to all those who left their homes and all they ever knew, in search of a better life. forgeofman.ca/nomads/

It all falls apart when the credibility you worked so tirelessly to build gets systemically dismantled by your own degeneracy fueled by ignorance and arrogance.

When you get to the age where the people you thought were invincible when you were a child begin to pass away - that is when your own mortality begins to really set in.

In a world full of absurdity and ridiculousness beyond measure, being outraged should be replaced with being outside.

Our ability to identify right from wrong is outstanding, but our willingness to support right and speak up against wrong is embarrassing.

@SilvaNikol29061 Yet we do it again and again - a tragic comedy of sorts. Grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours, teachers, friends...the list goes on. Each takes with them so much knowledge, history and experience that would undoubtedly help us navigate our own lives.

@Eric_Weiner Love this - writing is hard, there is no doubt about it, but nothing beats the satisfaction of being able to express your own thoughts and feelings via writing. Sure, it's difficult at times, but that's what makes it that much more rewarding in the end.

Imagine in the not-too-distant future, you want to run a marathon but the training regime is daunting. So you recruit an AI bot that looks like you to run the race. It wins. Would that be gratifying? Think about that the next time you ask ChatGPT to write an essay for you.

He who is good simply because it is the right thing to do, not to win favour of a God or out of fear of incurring his wrath... He is the definition of a good human being.
