@visitphilly Jeff was so supportive of the entire hospitality & tourism industry in Philadelphia. He loved Philadelphia and was a joy to be around and work with. Our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and colleagues. He will be missed by many.

It is with the greatest sadness that we inform you that Jeff Guaracino, VISIT PHILADELPHIA’s president and CEO, passed away yesterday after a battle with cancer.

Restaurants operate at an avg profit margin of 5%. Every table, every service & every day matters. IF we reopen, we know it's going to be a long time before things return to normal. Independent restaurants need a stabilization fund to try to survive the months & years ahead.
