When Nakhun was walking around searching for the pond he had seen in his dreams, he unexpectedly met a fortune teller and followed her to her house. There, Nakhun confessed that he had traveled through time and that he came from 400 years in the future, from the Ayutthaya era.
However, the fortune teller made Nakhun realize that he had not actually traveled through time. Instead, he had returned to fulfill a promise. In Klao’s final moments, Klao prayed for a chance to come back, clear his father’s name, and protect the person he loved. At that moment, Nakhun finally understood that he was actually Klao’s reincarnation, because everything Nakhun had done mirrored Klao’s actions in the past. 🥹
It turned out that the whole encounter felt like a dream, even though it seemed completely real. Nakhun suddenly woke up in his room, and P’Phop told him that he had been sleepwalking into the forest, which was why P’Phop had brought him back home.
P’Phop said that he was not disappointed about what had happened at the rice field before, but somehow, his actions showed otherwise.
After realizing that he was Klao’s reincarnation, Nakhun slowly began remembering all of his past memories and was finally able to speak clearly again.
While P’Phop was working, Nakhun asked to meet him at the tea house. Together, they discussed and investigated the illegal opium case. Klao started suspecting that Cherd was somehow connected to the whole situation, which was why he kept meeting Pim to gather information about him.
Eventually, Klao returned to the brothel and tried to talk to Pim again. Unfortunately, even after Klao paid to extend their time together, Pim still refused to answer many of his questions about Cherd. At the brothel, Klao encountered Cherd once again, and the two almost got into a fight before Muen Harn stepped in to stop them. Muen Harn then told Klao to go home, but during that moment, he briefly noticed P’Phop, who was secretly disguised nearby 👀
When they returned home, P’Phop and Klao continued discussing the opium case, questioning who the mastermind behind everything was, as well as Klao’s suspicions toward Muen Harn and why Cherd seemed so afraid of him.
In the middle of their conversation, Klao playfully teased P’Phop so he would pour him more palm wine. Because of that, they ended up sitting extremely close to each other, and P’Phop almost kissed Klao. Unfortunately, the moment was witnessed by Phraya’s two concubines.
The next day, the two concubines spread gossip about P’Phop and Klao in front of Khun Ying. Sai overheard their conversation and immediately told both P’Phop and Klao about it. P’Phop reassured Klao that everything was okay and told him not to worry because he would handle everything himself.
Later, P’Phop received another case related to the opium investigation, where the bandits had even dared to poison one of his subordinates. Klao secretly followed P’Phop because he wanted to know what was happening, but he was discovered by the bandits and nearly stabbed with a sword. Thankfully, P’Phop arrived just in time to save him.
When P’Phop was about to continue chasing after the bandits, Klao called out to him. Instead of pursuing them, P’Phop chose to stay behind and comfort Klao, hugging him tightly as Klao was still shaken and shocked by everything that had just happened.
Back at home, P’Phop was still upset with Klao, but that did not stop him from treating Klao’s injuries, proving just how worried he truly was. He was terrified that something terrible might happen to Klao, so he begged Klao to always keep P’Phop in his heart whenever he wanted to go somewhere or do something, and to never go into dangerous places alone again.
After Klao apologized, P’Phop confessed his love to Klao once again, and as his answer, Klao kissed P’Phop.
