We are very sorry to share the incredibly sad news that Wes Greenhalgh the Rainford ladies U9 coach has passed away. Wes was a lovely man, always had a smile on his face even when battling illness. Our thoughts go to all his family, friends and everyone at @RLA_youth. Teams playing tonight, we would like if you observed a moment of applause before the games as a mark of respect and please share the moment as widely on social media possible tagging in @RLA_youth #RIPWes.

So today Hammy & I hosted Girls Primary School Tournament. We've been doing these for 14 Years now, & every tournament I say the same. The quality of the football is getting better year on year, - difference now, is it's from a much younger age, the 5 & 6 year olds were awesome!
