@badshakhan101 Justice Kanta contempt orders raise serious concerns. No office, however high, justifies allowing personal ego to drive judicial conduct or misuse institutional power. Her belated recusal, while welcome, cannot erase the damage done. Inquiry & action must follow !

The government formed 5 new districts in Ladakh, raising the total from 2 to 7. As Per 2011 Census, Ladakh’s 274,289 people are 46.4% Muslim, 39.65% Buddhist. Of the new 7 districts, 5 are Buddhist majority (for 39.65%), 2 Muslim (for 46.4%). Aim ? Gerrymandering !

The govt has created 5 new districts in Ladakh. There are now 7 instead of 2 districts. The govt wants to divide the unified statehood movement of Buddhists and Muslims. This is another gerrymandering in the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir As per the 2011 Census, Ladakh has 46.40% Muslims and 39.65% Buddhist population out of the total population of 274289. Out of the 7 districts, 5 are Buddhist majority, only 2 are Muslim. Basically 5 districts for 39.65% population and only 2 districts for 46.40% population

AAP MLA Mehraj Malik, detained under PSA by the LG Admin in Sep 2025, was freed today after the J&K HC quashed his 8month detention. The LG Admin owes J&K an explanation. PSA is not a tool for vendetta. Accountability must follow.

Kejriwal's legal point has merit. No litigant can be forced into proceedings they believe are biased. Recusal & transfer are legitimate remedies. A formal letter documenting concerns builds a legal record. What he cites isn't political spin, it's foundational jurisprudence.

In all humility and with complete respect for judiciary, I have written the following letter to Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma, informing her that pursuing Gandhian principles of Satyagraha, it won’t be possible for me to pursue this case in her court, either in person or through a counsel. I have taken this difficult decision after coming to the clear conclusion that the proceedings being conducted in her court do not, in any manner, satisfy the fundamental principle that ‘justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done’. My participation in these proceedings, either myself or through a counsel will not achieve anything meaningful.

The SC is the guardian of the Constitution, not a gatekeeper that defers fundamental rights to tribunals. Arbitrary deletion from voter rolls = violation of Article 19 & 21. Right to Vote cannot be adjourned to a future date when elections are TODAY. Shameful. #WestBengal

@SauravDassss She is acting as a judge in her own cause, violating the fundamental principle of natural justice "Nemo Judex In Causa Sua" and since the foundation of this case is itself vitiated, all subsequent proceedings are void ab initio. This case needed a judge to apply law to facts.

“Justice Sharma said that even if her relatives are empanelled on Government panels, Kejriwal was still required to show the proximity, relevance, and impact of such empanelment on the case in hand or on the decision-making power of the Court.” WRONG. ABSOLUTELY WRONG. How can the burden to “prove” this be put on a litigant? It is practically impossible. And hence the jurisprudence on recusal requires a litigant to not “prove” bias but only properly convey their “reasonable apprehension” of possible bias due to circumstances such as this. Justice Sharma has got it totally wrong here. The higher courts ought to correct this disastrous judgment on recusal.

A judge recuses from hearing a case in which the judiciary is maligned as per the judge, yet declines to treat this as contempt. Across India's courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court, most judges have yielded before ordinary BJP workers, let alone the party's leadership.
