在高铁商务座上网上冲浪（刷推特），被铁路交警看到，愤怒地叫道车厢连接处进行训话。包括但不限于向我宣读公民禁止自建网络出口，检查身份证拍照。然后就开始看我的关注列表，看到王局治安，还进行批评，类似关注也是一种言论表达云云。 最后又是熟悉的，卸载应用，写检讨书。🌚🌚🌚

DC一家网红餐厅老板在OddLots播客里讲，他以前给一个餐厅老板打工的时候，那家店的备餐间在地下室、没通风，按规范根本批不下来。他问老板怎么过的审，老板说"装了一万美元现金在公文包里给了那个人"。这个老板自己现在开Butterworth's，一个许可证等了八个月，他在节目说，现金贿赂那套确实能办很多事，效率很高。
这就是美国，跟中国有区别么，没有。

以前常听美国人说，在美国社会，最重要的规则就是“Money talks”。在中文里，它有个绝佳的对应短语：有钱能使鬼推磨。 说实话，我是在美国生活了很长时间才逐渐理解了这句话的真理性和普遍性。 以前看的书，要么说美国民主如何了不起，要么说美国在二战中如何英勇无私。这些印象很难和那句粗俗的短语对应起来。 这就是被洗脑的典型表现。我以前常常自诩有独立思考能力，其实很多观念和想法都是被别人灌输的。 今天，肯塔基州第四选区共和党初选的结果，让我再次领悟到这句话在美国的真理性。话糙理不粗。 我们那时too young, too naive! 不服不行啊，兄弟姐妹们！

其实看到外国电影的英文名的时候真的很震撼，好多电影的名字其实都超级有意义，但是中文一翻过来，总动员，环游记，真的很绝望

I thought back carefully; it was a sweltering evening, the radio's bright light illuminating the center console. I instinctively reached for the air conditioning, and my gut feeling told me that if the window buttons were in the middle, they would be at the bottom.
It wasn't until I parked the car and turned off the engine that I noticed the faint light emanating from the window buttons was at the top.

对北京餐饮的喜恶要看你是南方人还是北方人，爆肚、炒肝儿、卤煮、炸酱面、麻酱火烧、炙子烤肉、清水火锅等，大部分北方人都能接受，南方人看到这些就差点意思。烤鸭已成世界级美食，不分南北了。以前有个“郭林家常菜”连锁餐厅，主打京式小炒，好吃不贵，还有马兰拉面。
