At the beginning of 2025, I started a business called Void Monster where I do monthly pre-orders of various trading card game accessories and apparel that I design. It started off really slow, but I mostly was just looking for a way to get the money back that I'd have to spend to make the shirts and playmats that I wanted to wear or use for myself, so low sales was fine. But it started building more and more over the course of 2025 and became much bigger than I expected it to become. We are now about 14 months into our business and have hit just over 3100 orders in total. It has been a lot of late nights and busy weekends that would be impossible to have done without @ghoulythings helping me every step of the way. @ghoulythings has handled all of our social media and the vast majority of our customer support and shipping/packaging and has been absolutely killing it. I still have my position at Blizzard so as orders each month became more and more, I needed all the help I could get. But even now, it is getting to the point that the two of us can't manage it on our own, so we recently partnered with a fulfillment center near Portland that will be helping ease our struggles with packing and shipping orders.
It has just been such a crazy and wild endeavor, and it just keeps going. I'm very grateful for everyone who has supported us in building this and been encouraging of everything I've been making, it really means a lot. I'm very excited for the next steps, but a lot of this year is just getting used to not having to do all of this out of our house/garage anymore!
