@AlexGray83 The clash belongs at Daytona as the prelude for Speedweeks. The all star race would mean something if they would offer more than a million. Having it in the Carolinas or close to the teams home is the right answer. Maybe having it at the Rock or South Boston would be great.

2020: The Clash sucks move it out of Daytona. 2026: Actually put it back at Daytona. It only belongs there. Eventually the same will happen with the All Star and they'll put it back in Charlotte. I fear the sport is never going to do anything new again.

@kevin_nix33 2000s era of trucks were a great watch with Rick and Phil commentating. It was more exciting back then.

It's kinda funny. This is the type of racing that kicks absolute butt in lower divisions but I would not be as fond of it in Cup

I see the most likely path to @Rockingham1965 getting a cup date in the future would be for SMI or NASCAR to lease out one of their dates. Kinda like COTA.
