Forth Ports has today (24/06/26) been granted approval from the City of Edinburgh Council for a Planning Permission in Principle (PPP) for a 4.7acre waterfront site, forming part of the wider Harbour 31 masterplan at The Port of Leith. bit.ly/4oQ806W

The First Minister of Scotland, @JohnSwinney, toured the state-of-the-art Charles Hammond Berth and the Leith Renewables Hub yesterday, which is playing a vital role in the delivery of the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm and driving forward Scotland’s just transition journey. 🌍🎥

The First Minister of Scotland, @JohnSwinney, visited the Port of Leith today to receive an overview of Forth Ports’ investment programme, which spans new renewables and logistics terminals, mixed-use developments, multimodal transport and low-carbon fleet expansion.🌍🏗️
