One of most fun projects pre-vibecode era was my Nintendo ROM resume. First of its kind, playable, C->ASM, and learned some nesdev over that summer. I'm guessing something like this is easily one-shottable now with AI and LLM. I may update this for 2026.

I saw this live. At T-40 seconds they cut to a pretty convincing AI generated video of Elon giving a press conference. Fake Elon discussed the technical delay of the launch and then presented an airdrop users had to scan a QR code for. Pretty convincing overall from others I've seen.
Whoever did this, shame on you. Elon isn't giving you any money anytime now or in the future, and no one is going to double your crypto, ever.

You're already seeing masks, AI generated likeness, all AI (prior it was CGI) movies, and AI upscaling/enhancement. Celebrities in the future will be cast and selected, not for physical look, but for other character traits and skills. The ability for a celebrity to perform their craft, remain semi-anonymous, and be able to interact with the public sans paparazzi and societal blitz will be an additional benefit. The entire concept of "celebrity" is changing and will look different to what we have been conditioned to.

I ran my deepfake-detector software on the recent Back To The Future deep fake. As time goes on, this is getting harder to do to a degree of accuracy. The cat and mouse game continues.

What people don't realize is that "AI" already consumed you. It's too late. It doesn't matter if your Mom doesn't use Facebook, she has information and a photo on file at the DMV (and elsewhere) and those employees, systems, and databases are using AI.
Your image, likeness, and content has already been absolved. We are all essentially Borg.
