@alwaysrealracin @markmartin I think the 2nd Daytona race last year was really good as well, but overall racing wise till they got to the last stage, it wasn’t noticeably bad haha.

@markmartin Seen some good racing when they aren’t fuel saving, I think this has been the best Daytona or Talladega so far of the Next Gen

Lotta chatter on the race last night. I'm not complaining because I think Cup even racing at Bowman Grey period is badass. I appreciate Nascar working to get a finish. The weather was an issue and I'm glad they pushed through instead of giving up. I don't like allowing the field to fuel when others had opted to put themselves at an advantage in that area. But it doesn't ruin the night for me. It was an exhibition and I was entertained. Appreciate the entire industry dealing with all the inconveniences to make the event happen.

I say congratulations to @jesselovejr1 and his entire organization. This kid has a ton of personality and that is one thing we need more of in @NASCAR There are some superstars in the pipeline and if the media and NASCAR follow these kids the right way we will all win.

@bobpockrass I hate that the fanbase has turned this into “I don’t like Denny, so I hope they fail.” The last part of this is really telling. How can anyone argue this isn’t monopolistic behavior when NASCAR is being this blatant about it?

23XI/FRM trial brief notable: -75% of teams lost $ in 2024 -NASCAR 2023 & 2024 sanction agreements w/tracks prohibited competitive stock-car series at those tracks thru 2026, so few tracks available for any potential startup series in 2025 while NASCAR negotiated 2025-31 TV deal.

What’s going on with @NASCAR lately? WHY so many people in the stands? Is NASCAR the new rage?

I've had it with a lot of people. Y'all have bitched about how bad short track racing is the last 4 years. Goodyear comes with a piece that provided a great race along with perfect weather. Now you're bitching about that. I just cannot with some. It's true. Some are never happy.
