InshaAllah class continues tonight after maghrib

Special thanks & appreciation to my kind hosts @fouta_of (may Allah reward them) this weekend. It was quite a busy & productive weekend, including a visit to our beloved brothers & sisters @mbbsouthphilly & @abdurazzaaq (may Allah reward them generously), and a warm & welcoming meeting with my beloved brothers @hikmahpubs & @IbnAkhdar (may Allah bless them & their efforts) at @gtdawahcenter, even a brief moment to catch up with my beloved brother @AbuHakeemBilal (may Allah bless him & his da'wah) by phone. May Allah reward our brother Mustafa Fullani for around-the-clock hosting & coordination of the weekend's activities. May Allah bless his health, family & da'wah. Lots of positivity & brotherhood everywhere I went (despite the difficulty & weight of some of the topics & issues covered); I thank Allah for this amazing weekend & ask him to make me & all of us truly grateful.

[تسمين الأضاحي] عن أبَي أُمَامَةَ بْنَ سَهْلٍ قالَ: كُنَّا نُسَمِّنُ الأُضْحِيَّةَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، وَكَانَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ يُسَمِّنُونَ. (صحيح) علقه اابخاري ٨٠/٥ ووصله البيهقي ١٩٢٨٤ تغليق التعليق ٦/٥

[صالحُ الأخلاقِ] علّق الحافظُ ابنُ عبدالبرّ على حديثِ أبي هريرة مرفوعاً(إنّما بُعثتُ لأُتمِّمَ صالح الأخلاقِ)،قال:"هذا حديثٌ مدنيٌّ صحيحٌ،ويدخلُ في هذا المعنى: الصّلاحُ والخيرُ كُلّهُ،والدِّينُ والفَضلُ والمُرُوءةُ والإحسانُ والعَدلُ؛فبذلك بُعثَ ليُتَمِّمَهُﷺ"(التّمهيد)(٢٤/ ٣٣٤)

[التكبير في العيد] عَنْ تَمِيمِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: خَرَجَ ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ رضي الله عنهما يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ، فَلَمْ يَزَهُمْ يُكَبِّرُونَ، فَقَالَ: " مَا لَهُمْ لَا يُكَبِّرُونَ؟ أَمَا وَاللهِ لَئِنْ فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ، لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا فِي عَسْكَرٍ مَا يُرَى طَرَفَاهُ، فَيُكَبِّرُ الرَّجُلُ، وَيُكَبِّرُ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ حَتَّى ‌يَرْتَجَّ ‌الْعَسْكَرُ، وَإِنَّ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ كَمَا بَيْنَ الْأَرْضِ السُّفْلَى إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا. May Allah cure and preserve Shaykh Saleem, one of the founders of Masjid Ibn Baz in S Phila. Our elder is currently in intensive care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The Shaykh reminded me when we first met more than two decades ago. How quickly time passes.
