This is the part of Easter that gets buried A man sweated blood from stress before it even started. Flesh torn before He reached the wood. Fighting to breathe against nails for three hours while people watched. And through all of it, not one moment of turning back. I don't care where you stand theologically. The love required to stay on that cross when leaving was an option is the kind of thing that should stop you mid-scroll and make you sit with it for a minute. He didn't have to finish it. He chose to. That's the part that gets me every time.😫😭
