One thing that’s quietly flying under the radar with Leeds United is just how powerful they’ve become at Elland Road. He’s fixture-proof, he accumulates points consistently, and it honestly doesn’t matter how he scores them. Boring points are still points, and in FPL that’s what truly matters. The hesitation is purely structural. Right now, I’m already on an 𝗔𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲-𝘂𝗽 that I don’t want to break. I want to keep 𝗕𝘂𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝗮. I want to keep 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗮. If I bring in 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗲, I immediately block a future move that I know I’ll want to make bringing 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹 (£6.2M) back into the team with one simple transfer. That’s the dilemma. From a defensive fixtures point of view, Arsenal are unmatched. You can’t predict where the clean sheets come from. They can keep one against anyone. That’s the magic of the 𝗔𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. The Bruno injury and the severity of the situation make 💫 Hugo Ekitike a much easier and cleaner transfer this week. I’m even considering a bold move: keeping Igor Thiago and going back to three forwards. The only thing holding me back from Ekitike before was funding. None of my midfielders were sellable because they were all performing at a high level. That roadblock is now gone. With three transfers available, we suddenly have real flexibility.
