This week, I had the opportunity to spend the day learning and building community with @pagerduty's Black and Latine team members in our Atlanta office at an inaugural grassroots ArrayChella event hosted by our ERGs.
In a fireside with @hacreary, one of our ERG leads and member of our Product Marketing team, we discussed allyship, building our personal brands, creating community, and how our mission at PagerDuty is rooted in the importance of empowering people - our employees, our customers, and our partners.
This year’s theme was unite, enrich, and uplift, with programming built around personal and professional development, volunteerism, and in-person connection.
The chance to be with our employees in moments like this is one of the most inspiring and special parts of my job. It is also the one I look forward to most - open dialogue built on trust is invaluable in helping our employees grow and delivering on our mission as a company. I so appreciate being included.
I left with a renewed sense of community, deeper connections to our people, and even some new dance moves thanks to the patience of my many mentors!
Thank you to the leadership teams of RISE and Dutonienses (PagerDuty’s Black and Latine ERGs) for organizing an incredible, inspiring two days. I appreciate the many employees who took part in making this event successful, impactful, and one filled with joy, reunions, new connections, and special memories.
