@carrotsoncake I think this happens because since the beginning of the Work, Usopp's ship with Kaya was already very strong.

People being purposely dense in my replies. Do you not find it strange how Usopp seems to be the only strawhat that’s not constantly shipped with the other crewmates?? People have no problem shipping the crew till it’s Usopp cause then it’s suddenly “they’re just friends!1!1!”
