✨I’ve grown close to a stray cat at work… and now I’m torn between bringing her home or leaving her where she is..
For almost two years, I’ve been feeding this little cat who lives in a bush near my workplace. In the beginning, she wouldn’t even let me get near her.
But now?
She waits for me at the door every single day.
She rubs against my shoes.
She lets me pet her while she eats.
And lately, she’s started following me when I leave, like she doesn’t want our time together to end.
We’ve built such a strong bond—and that’s exactly why this decision hurts so much.
Part of me feels she’d be safer and happier living indoors with me.
But another part worries I’d be taking her away from the only world she’s ever known.
I also live close to a highway, and the idea of her ever slipping outside terrifies me.
She’s already spayed, and she’s surviving out there… but I can’t shake the feeling that she’s choosing me.
