FramerThings just leveled up. What started as a simple resource hub is now a full-on marketplace. Sell templates & components and track sales — all from your own dashboard. No gatekeepers. Built for Framer creators. This is just the beginning. Let’s build something big!💥🚀

Relying only on @framer 's marketplace feels like a mistake. Day 2 of figuring out how to market a framer template business. Ever since the marketplace lost some of its curated feel, it seems more important to get templates featured on curated galleries and marketplaces. For today, I'm only focusing on free options. If they bring results, I'll consider paying for premium listings later. Right now, the goal is to grow revenue using free distribution. So far I've found: Paid: @landbookgallery @awwwards Free: @contra, @getframeplate, @gallereee Revenue share: @ui8, @framerthings The downside is that if you don't pay for priority, the review process can take weeks. So this definitely isn't a quick win. My plan is to submit to most of these and also list all my templates on @contra Am I missing any good marketplaces or galleries worth applying to?

Framer’s strict review process makes more sense when you realize they don’t handle payments. At FramerThings, we do - so we can let creators list freely, let the market decide, and still ensure everything’s handled in-platform.

The absurdity of the @framer template review system. The problem is that one of the reviewers ( @itsmeahshan ) I already reported to you is still on the review team even though I proved that he approved his own problematic templates... ahsan is very careful in his work, he hasn't passed any of my templates through the first stage yet, but for some reason, the faulty templates that he partnered with got into the store easily. Another problem is nepotism, why is @stfnco's template, which didn't even have an h1 tag before I reported it, on the homepage for months? Also why was it approved even though it has obvious counterbalance issues? I was definitely not going to say this, but when I saw that these problems are now being voiced by everyone, I felt I had to say it, because many people are working hard for this job and are being rejected. everyone needs to know these things. Dude, there is a very easy way to check this, you can run lighthouse in google chrome and find out all the issues... If you are telling us not to send more templates here, tell us clearly so we don't waste more time... my last template was rejected 3 times, these were small corrections each time, one time I forgot to name a stack somewhere, one time I forgot to add a text style in a used component that will not be used again... Anyway, when you encounter these things while producing in a serial way, the motivation deteriorates. but this is not the main problem. I'm not saying this out of jealousy, why some people are prioritized while others are delayed for months... Don't waste our time, if the review team wants to be constructive, they can use the comment feature that is already in the framer when reviewing the template and report the errors here, so the process will speed up 5x. why is it rejected for no reason and then after I email again and ask what's wrong, the problems are listed... we fix the same problems and send it and other problems arise, man, don't do that... I repeat tell us that we don't want too many templates in the marketplace so we are selective. then the review team should be equal for everyone, I have sent you approved templates with problems I found many times. If Framer is making millions of dollars from this, it shouldn't be too hard for him to put a few more people here the bottom line is that I love framer's product, it's the greatest website development tool ever, I'll put my signature under it, but something needs to be fixed... @aandreug @framer @jurrehoutkamp

@FKThedesigner @framer @itsmeahshan That sucks. The way we see it is, creators should be able to list their work if it meets basic quality standards and then let the market decide what wins. A marketplace should strive to stay as unbiased as possible.

🧼 The real flex is usability. Buyers remember what saved them time, not what used the most blend modes.

🚫 5. Don’t underprice to get your first sale. Cheap = low trust. Instead, justify your price with polish and clarity.
