@danielstorey85 It’s amazing that in an article designed to soften people’s opinion of he comes across even worse. Quite simply a horrible, horrible man with zero self awareness

@donhutch4 I saw someone post about sacking Howe to bring the "good times back". I'm 46 and believe me, as a Newcastle fan this IS the good times. Yes, it's been a crap season but a sense of perspective is needed. You can still want more from Eddie but respect what he's done

I totally agree. One bad season and every is losing there minds. It’s been a shocking season✅ But surely this is the time to back E Howe. 2 champions lge campaigns✅ Walloped PSG at Home✅ Trophy in the cabinet🏆 Great aggressive football at home (ovs not this season)

The Disrespect showed to our manager and players is embrassing, that's our most successful manager in 50 years, yet we now have people calling him a C.nt, I’ve followed this club home & away for 50+ years and Eddie Howe has done the one thing others could not even dream about

Football fans are mental. Salah breaks his contract a year early so he can go on a free, when they could easily have gotten a fee and is (rightly) lauded as a legend. Trent won exactly the same trophies, respects his contract and is booed by own fans. #LFC #Salah

Cancer update. Poking over. Treatment starts! Now: PICC line insert. Then chemo and immuno drugs begin ("tough" say the docs). I'm wearing my Disraeli Gears hoodie, multi-hueded Dongeal tweed lid, and acid green shirt. Not Psychedia v Chemo... Psych *helping* the Drugs! 💚✊️💊

Bruno Guimarães to Manchester United keeps picking up momentum. Whatever is happening with Elliot Anderson or any other CM target, it is clear now that the club are doing due diligence, is he emerging as the top midfield priority? It's potentially heading that way. Fernando Kallas started everything earlier this week & he was the one who broke Guimarães' previous move. Ben Jacobs reported a gentleman's agreement for Guimarães to leave Newcastle, Fabrizio Romano said he was one of many options & interest is real. Brazil's UOL corroborated Kallas' report, saying Guimarães is the club's main priority because of his PL experience, leadership & "affordable" price. Now Romano is echoing prior reporting with his update. Whoever you prefer, this screams club ambition. Targeting one of the best players in his position in the world, with a potential market opportunity because of his gentleman's agreement & while any deal would be complex, expensive & is far from done. Either way, we are heading for one hell of a transfer window. Free Bruno Guimarães.
UF@UtdFaithfuls

Fabrizio Romano confirms that Man Utd held a meeting with the agents of Bruno Guimarães few weeks ago. Looks like we're really in for him. I know there's age concerns, but he would be another very good Premier League proven signing that improves us. Bring.

I do think this Neto ball boy incident has been blown massively out of proportion. A ball boys job is to give the ball back to the players & the PSG ball boy didn’t want to do that. It’s not a discipline problem when Neto was trying to get the ball to take a quick throw in. He obviously didn’t mean to push him over, did he. Neto has apologised & everyone needs to move on.

Appreciate this ban affects all fans but Brighton fans have been advised that coins and phone power banks are banned from the Stadium of Light and there will be ‘enhanced searching’. “Any coins discovered during searches will be placed into sealed collection buckets. These will be donated to Brighton and Hove Albion Foundation” Twelve hours of travel plus the match itself on a single charge is pushing it. As for coins, I’ve never assaulted anyone with a 20 pence coin before, but is that how football fans are seen these days?

Hindsight is beautiful. When he decided to leave, Cucurella was 10x better than him. He was always going to develop and become better, but just like Livramento and Reece, he wanted to play and not compete with Cucurella. Unless, you are saying that we should've benched Cucurella and play him to develop. It took Newcastle nearly 3 years to get him to this level and he's still not better than Cucurella. Every top youngster will develop if you close your eyes to mistakes and give them consistent game time. Imagine playing Delap and Gittens every game to develop them; this fanbase will riot. We like making noise when other teams develop our academy graduates, while we don't have the patience to develop them ourselves.

@framno10 @FCBarcelona @TheAthletic @NUFC I apologise if you found it offensive, that was not my intention. I think that once explained, it is easier to understand, but obviously I have a lot of respect for Newcastle and that was not my intention.

@Laia_Cervello @FCBarcelona @TheAthletic @NUFC No drama, I wasn't offended and I get it, it's Barca and we know how difficult it will be. I just felt nufc dismissed before a ball is kicked when anyone who was at the match this season saw us compete for large parts of the game. If you are coming over I hope you enjoy the game

@Laia_Cervello @FCBarcelona @TheAthletic @NUFC Thanks for the reply. Maybe it’s because it’s my team and we know how easily offended fans can be, but drawing us being described as a lottery win and “what looks like the most beatable opponent” would be pinned on the dressing room wall

@framno10 @FCBarcelona @TheAthletic @NUFC I'm not saying it's a lottery because Newcastle is a minor team, but because they have avoided the current Champions League winner, who beat them earlier this year. What's more, they will avoid any other European champions until the final. For them, A PRIORI, that's good news.

@AdamJoseph Shouldn’t have even needed a review the referee is looking at it from 10 yards away. Peter Bankes is an awful referee. One of the worst in the league(and that’s saying something) He had no control over that game and was conned and influenced all night. Same old story.

You can see Dan Burn make the contact with Luke Shaw the first time, then wind up & clock him with his elbow. Manchester United didn't deserve to win, it also does not mean this wasn't a clear & obvious red card that should've been given after review.
