@HM_Passport How long does it normally take to "process" ...seen other people jump straight from docs received to approved in a few days. Its edinburgh office. Going to have to cancel our holiday if its much longer😪

@vickie_brett @passportwaiting So annoying....seeing people who applied a whole month later getting theirs approved. Hoping its not much longer!

@francesca_cane @passportwaiting It's just what I read on twitter; if it says that your application is processing then it means you are in the old system and that has a longer wait time. If it stays on we have received your documents then it will suddenly change to approved and seems to be quicker.

@AngelaL66113266 @passportwaiting I spoke to tui yesterday. There advise was move it to early next year at least 14 days before departure. Then you can move it back if you passport comes in time for free. Only issue is holiday proves have rocketed and out same holiday is £1800 more expensive if we book it now.

@vickie_brett @passportwaiting What's this old system thing...my boys has been processing since 10th Sept. Had docs since 19th August....we had to send our bits to Edinburgh?

@passportwaiting Anyone sent to Newport and have a timeline? I'm waiting for my child's renewal that hasn't changed from "being processed" since 6/9. I'm told this means it's the old system which isn't good.
