I believe it’s possible to make a broadcast that is fun and for new fans and for the sickos, all at the same time. I fully believe you’re capable of doing it! and I’m sick of networks using any one of those things as an excuse as to why their broadcasts aren’t good.

and it’s great that you’re trying to get new fans into the sport. but you can’t convince me the things that made this broadcast “netflix-y” are going to do that! because those things weren’t fun! they weren’t interesting. they did not connect netflix to baseball in any way.

elle I adore you but the idea that we were too critical of the broadcast being “too netflix-y” and that being our own damn problem is not a fair look at the situation. my options weren’t watch the first game of the mlb season on netflix or watch it somewhere else.
