@CivilServantRet @tylermilliken_ Sure but Duran statistically won’t get on base the majority of the time, and Roman will likely have the best on base percentage on the team so I think it makes most sense to lead him off

Red Sox 2025 3rd rd pick Anthony Eyanson’s stuff is up across the board from where it was at LSU. FB 95-98, SL 86-89, CH/SP 88-92, CB 80-82. Polished arsenal. Feel for spin. Missed bats w/all pitches. Here’s a 98 mph FB for a strikeout today. His FB averaged 93.1 at LSU in 2025.

People can say Ohtani is better, that’s fine.
But..
Ohtani hit .105 in 24 WS and still won. He didn’t play last WBC game and won. 0-3 the game before and won. 7.56 ERA in the ‘25 WS and won. Was hitting .157 in ‘25 playoffs, and was still 8-1 up 3-0 in NLCS before he showed up.
