It’s been two years since I lost my brother, my friend, a loyal ally, and one of Kwara’s finest, Sen. Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim. For those of us who were close to him, the weight of his absence is still deeply felt. I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) continues to illuminate his grave and grant him the highest place in Aljannah Firdaus. May Allah grant his family strength, comfort, and guidance, and keep them under His protection always. Ameen.

Very funny sequence of political events laced with hypocrisy. It keeps beating my reasoning how a “Kwara North mega rally” takes place in Ilorin. From all indications, the whole point of the 'Kwara North Mega Rally' was to showcase the APC's strength in Kwara North, wouldn’t it be fitting that the 'Kwara North Mega Rally' is held in Kwara North itself? One starts to wonder if the reality is that Kwara North has been forgotten by the Abdulrahman regime of nonchalant Governance. It must be about the troubling security that has bedevilled Kwara as a whole and it's North in particular. Abi, it must be about the roads.. Yes it must be the roads for the roads in Kwara North will compete to be the #1 bad road network with any region of Africa. My own is that, it's not good for the optics. It reveals the undue neglect that Kwara North has gone through under the regime of @RealAARahman If not that I am interested in the political welfare of Kwara, I wouldn't even have heard of the mega rally of Kwara North that was held in Ilorin. Even the turnout didn’t match the “mega rally” propaganda tag.. E just be like where 7 years old boy dey do birthday. Anyway, as a concerned public commentator, I declare the Kwara North propaganda Mega Rally as a futile attempt to showcase a non existent power house that exists only in the imagination of deluded political jingoists.
